Definition of issue:
Customer is using the new cash drawer lockdown function but when closing out their drawer, they're unable to open a new drawer. Selecting the new drawer option doesn't do anything.
Steps to Resolve:
Go into printers under the kitchen setup. Select each printer that has a cash drawer assignment. Scroll to the bottom, change reset balance type from manual to automatic. Save and publish. Then change it back to manual, save and publish.
After changing the setting then changing it back and publishing you'll now be able to open a new drawer after closing out the previous drawer. This is due to a publishing error with the new cash drawer lockdown function.
