Toast POS offers an option for a built-in Loyalty Program in our cloud-based software which allows users to view and manage the program from anywhere for only $50/month.
How does it work?
The Toast Rewards Program is simple. Enrolled customers (diners and patrons) spend money in the store and earn points for those purchases. Each point is later redeemable in the form of a discount on a future purchase. There are optional features to offer birthday rewards.
How do I setup?
First, login to www.toasttab.com and visit the Marketing Section. Select the Rewards Program page for the restaurant.
1. Enable the program by checking Yes in the first option.
2. Once enabled, options will appear below to start configuring you program.
The figures are above are the default program:
For every pre-tax $1.00 (Accrual Rate) 1 point is earned. When the customer earns 100 points (Accrual Target) their points can be redeemed at the rate of $0.05 per $1.00 (Conversation Rate).
On their next purchase of eligible items, they can redeem up to a $5.00 discount (100 points).
These figures are all customizable to the user's preference.
What Each Property Means
Accrual Rate = Dollar amount spent to earn 1 point.
Accrual Target (optional) = Threshold of points required to be earned in order for discount to become available.
Conversion Rate = Redemption value of each point ($).
Signup Bonus (optional) = Number of points to give to each customer who enrolls for the first time.
Rewards Program Name = Name of the program. If not specified, defaults to '[Restaurant Name] Rewards'
Birthday Rewards (ask your Toast Contact to enable this if needed)
The Birthday Bonus enables you to set a $ bonus value that is redeemable by loyalty program customers.
You can allow lookup of rewards accounts by name and email and exclude other payment types from the rewards program from Payment Options.
You can exclude parts of your menu from the rewards program. See Advanced Properties.
