Closed Drawer Print Out
It’s now possible to print an individual cash drawer report when that cash drawer is closed. Sometimes called an X report, this closed drawer report allows you to more easily audit activity on individual drawers and hold staff accountable for the balances.
You can also create a custom name for individual terminals and that name will show up on the closed drawer report.
"No Sale" Auditing
New “No Sale” tracking capabilities allow you to track when and why a cash drawer is opened without a transaction and who is doing it. You create a list of a reasons that a cash drawer might be opened and Toast will prompt one of those to be selected every time a “No Sale” is rung in.
No Sale data will be available in a new section of the Sales Exception reports and in the new Closed Drawer Printout. This detailed tracking is designed to help increase visibility and detect and reduce theft.
House Balance on Cash Drawer Report
You can now view a detailed report on deposits and withdrawals from the House balance, giving you more visibility for troubleshooting overages and shortages. The “House” column of the Cash Drawer report now includes details that allows you to see individual House transactions that can occur during shift review, tip outs, or cash drops.
